Hijama (Cupping)

Looking for an alternative way to release stress and pain? We at Doha Clinic Hospital we are now offering the hijama (cupping) services. Hijama (cupping) is an alternative medical technique used to help treat pain and discomfort in the body. The globe shaped glass cups are places on the various parts of the body, that are experiencing the discomfort. The cupped area in then vacuumed to expansion of the tissue area to help release the discomfort area, while the blood comes out as the vacuum has increase circulation/blood flow to the discomforted areas.

Cupping practitioners attempt to use cupping therapy for a wide array of medical conditions including fevers, chronic low back pain, poor appetite, indigestion, high blood pressure, acne, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, anomia, stroke rehabilitation and nasal congestion, to name a few.
